Extreme Giving: Be a Stockpile Giver #extremegiving
| Tweet |
With the buzz of 'Extreme Couponing' going around, we've decided to take a different approach. We've launched a new campaign called Extreme Giving (#extremegiving on twitter) and want to hear your stories of how you are able to bless others through couponing.
It is because of this method that my family was able to eat and we were able to get control of our finances. I know there are many of you who have been blessed because of it as well but now it's time to go out and bless others. I'm not a fan of buying 63 bottles of mustard unless you know 63 families who need it. If we're going to brag about anything, let it be our giving!
This picture is from one of our readers, 3n'smom, who was able to bless someone she knew:
My husband came home last week from work telling me about a co-worker who is recently divorced and received custody of his three children. They are really struggling. I immediately complied a few bags of essentials and sent them to work with him the next day.
Cost after coupons and rebates was $5.00 and I'm sure it's over $50.00 retail. The father was so excited and my hubby was really bragging on me. I owe it all to MSQ. It felt really good. I hope to send a few bags each month to help them out.
This is what it is all about! Pay close attention to what you hear this week, does someone around you have a need? Hit your stockpile and spread the love! Let us know about it by sending it to moneysavingqueen@gmail.com, posting it on our Facebook or posting it in the Money Saving Queen Forums.

I think this is a really good idea. I am sure we have all been blessed and now it is time for us to give back. Lets pay it forward!
I'm not extreme at all. If I find something free or really cheap I get it then find somewhere to give it to. IE: razors, deoderant to the women's crisis center, poligrip to a retirement center, dry goods to a food pantry etc. Even little things bless others.

With the onslaught of storms recently, it's time for us couponers to step up. When I look around and everybody has a story about someone who survived the storms or in some cases didn't, I realize how incredibly I am blessed. It's time to give from our hearts.
