Grow Your Own Onions Easily

I posted this last year but then just did it again last week so I thought I would bring it back up. Coolest. Thing. Ever.

WOW. I had no idea growing your own green onions could be so easy! Check out this post on Homemade Serenity and find out how you can grow your own green onions again and again just by submerging the 'white part' in water! One of our friends did this and said it worked perfectly, it does have an 'onion' smell though so keep that in mind when you put them in your kitchen.

This is one of those life altering ideas....

This past winter, I was worried I might lose my rosemary plants. So I took a couple of cuttings and was pleasantly surprised that they rooted and grew quickly. Now I have rosemary and onions!! Thanks so much!

That seems so funny to me because we eat the whole onion including the white part!
