Don't forget Home Depot also has Do-It-herself workshops for free. I took two this past week. Thursday evening was Container Gardening. There were only 2 of us for most of the workshop then 2 other joined in at the end. I signed up for this one because I am still a "newbie" at Square Foot Gardening (SFG) and had a terrible season last year. I learned a lots of great tips for a better year this time around.

Then yesterday, Saturday, I signed up for a floral class. I was the only student and was a little late so I could not find this workshop. Since no one was there, they were not going to do it, but since I asked the Gardening supervisor gaver me a private class. This was awesome. It was a version of the Topsy Turvey Tomato planter seen on TV but this was done with stuff you put together yourself and with flowers.

Both classes were great and FREE! The offer classes every week, but I think the D-I-Herself ones and every three weeks.
