I would say, without a doubt, that saving money is a beautiful thing. I especially like it when stores entice you to shop with rewards. I've told you about many of the reward clubs for beauty products, but the smart folks over at ShopSmartmag.org tracked down some new ones and I just had to share them with you...
Sephora.com: Become a Beauty Insider and when you spend a dollar, you earn a point. Sephora says the more you shop, the prettier the perks. Sephora also wishes you a Happy Birthday by giving you a free gift on your big day.
CVS.com: Join the CVS Extracare Beauty Club and get rewarded with extra care bucks. I just love ECBs! You get $5 ECBs for every $50 you spend on beauty products. Not to be outdone, CVS also sends you a little something special on your birthday.
MAC: Turn in six MAC product containers either at the counter or online and you receive a free lipstick of your choice. Sweet! That's a nice thank you worth $14.50.
Smashbox.com: Smashbox awards pretty points for every dollar you spend. After getting 500 points, you will receive a $10 gift certificate. You also get a free gift set for your birthday and an extra deluxe sample with each order.
A couple of things to keep in mind with these rewards clubs though...
- Be sure you understand the shipping policy. With some companies, you have to pay for shipping if you return any product by mail.
- Understand exactly how to redeem points. Some companies make you wait 30 days to use your points.
- Check the rewards calendar. Many of the beauty club rewards roll over from quarter to quarter, but expire at year's end.
All in all... beautiful rewards... wouldn't you say?
