Welcome to Day 10 of our Frugal Christmas Gifts contest sponsored by GoldBuyersExpress.com. There is still time to enter our contest, check out this post, learn how and enter to win an $1100 diamond!

This is one of those fun crafts, you can put it in your child's stocking as a gift or simply do it as a fun project. It's frugal and easy. Huge thanks to Shasta for sending it in!

{Jellyfish in a Bottle}

You will need:

1 empty clear plastic bottle

1 plastic sack

thread

scissors

food coloring

Directions:

Step 1: Take a shopping bag with no print on one side and lay it flat-clear works best but if you don't have it you can use white or you can use a produce bag but they are thinner and rip easier

Step 2: Cut off the handles and the bottom of the sack

Step 3: Cut up the sides of the sack and discard one side

Step 4: Make a small head and loosely tie thread (I used a tootsie roll to hold shape the head while I cut)

Step 5: Start cutting small tentacles from the bottom of the sack, make various lengths but cut them fairly thin

Step 6: After cutting all of the tentacles hold at the head and add a little bit of water to the head leaving a pocket of air so the jellyfish can float then pull thread tightly

Step 7: Fill bottle 1/2- 3/4 full with water

Step 8: Add the jellyfish to the bottle head first

Step 9: Add a few drops of food coloring-your choice

Step 10: Fill the rest of the way with water

Step 11: Put lid on (I super glued mine shut)

Step 12: Give to child and watch the smiles and fun!
