Frugal Living: How to Freeze Eggs
| Tweet |
Last week, we posted an article about foods you can freeze including eggs, milk, butter, cheese and more. I've had a lot of questions about freezing eggs and several of our facebook fans posted comments about it. I thought I would repost the method here for you today if you would like to try it. Keep in mind, the quality may not be the exact same however, several people have really praised this method so it does seem to work.
{How to Freeze Eggs}
Crack the eggs and whisk them together. Then, pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze. Each ice cube is the equivalent of one egg. After the eggs are frozen, be sure to put them in a freezer-friendly container, take them out of the ice cube tray so they will last longer.
Do not freeze them in the shell, make sure you whisk them together before you freeze.
Now, if you see a killer sale on eggs, you can stock up and keep them longer than you thought.
