How You Can Preserve Eggs for Up to 12 Months
| Tweet |
Just a little bit ago we talked about freezing eggs and how you could freeze them if you loaded up on a good deal. Well, here is something just a bit different. Anna Marie posted a great article in our forums that shows us how to use mineral oil to preserve eggs for up to 12 months.
It really does look simple enough and she makes some very valid points about how farmers do not refrigerate the eggs. Whether you choose to freeze your eggs or preserve them, the point is that you can actually keep them much longer than you thought!
Has anyone tried this? I think it sounds pretty cool!
Just a brief FYI: You're doing this at your own risk now, I have no idea how good for you this actually is.
