Couponing 101: Quick Tip for Pantry Organization
| Tweet |
Today's Couponing 101 tip is a quick, organizational tip that will greatly help with your sanity and your stockpile:
Michelle from Organizing Solutions came to my house last year and organized my pantry. The best tip she gave was to purchase an over the door shoe holder and use it to store snacks and other items that don't necessarily need to be kept in their boxes. Sometimes all those boxes take up way too much space so this solution was easy and pretty cheap.

Just a side note, for those of you with small kiddos, keep the healthy snacks towards the bottom and they'll be more likely to reach for those when they get a craving. What you're seeing in the picture above is towards the top of the door and my kids cannot reach it. I picked this shoe holder up at Walmart for about $7 and it has been great!

This is a great idea! I wish I had a door or somewhere in my pantry to utilize this! It's a very wise use of space, especially when you have as many random kitchen trinkets and tools as I do. Fabu!

Thanks for the great idea. I featured it on my blog: http://www.organizinghomelife.com/archives/2238
LOVE this idea! Thanks!
I have a cabinet type pantry so I found a cheap shoe rack with more space between the pockets and cut it in half the long way and mounted it inside the cabinet doors. It needed staples in a few spots but still works great! :o)
