Stay warm inside Philbrook Museum and enjoy all of the activities and crafts for kids for FREE during January's Free Second Saturday.

This month's crafts include:

  • Cut images out of art magazines and create an interesting collage
  • Design your own printing block of foam cutouts and use it to make amazing prints

Explore the art of Faith Ringold, Jacob Lawrence, Romare Beardin and others as you relax and watch I Can Fly Part IV:  Kids and African American Art in the children's theater.  There are three storytime tours at 11 am, 12:30 pm and 2 pm.  This week kids can listen to a children’s story led by Rusty the Squirrel, as they get up close and personal with some of the best artwork at Philbrook.

Public tours are given starting in the Rotunda at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Plus, pick up the Winter Scavenger Hunt for a search inside the Villa for art in the collection that hints at Jack Frost.  The guides are available at the registration table and the great hall.

All activities and crafts are from 10 am to 4 pm at Philbrook Museum of Art located at 2727 South Rockford Road (just east of Peoria Avenue) in Tulsa.  Admission to the museum is free for adults and children Saturday, January 12, 2013.
