FeedMattress Firm Military Giveaway

A few weeks ago, we ran a contest asking you to nominate a deserving military family for free mattresses and you did! This family was nominated by their Pastor, Rusty Gunn of Church That Matters in Sand Springs and just this morning, Mattress Firm Tulsa & myself had the privilege of blessing them with new mattresses.
The folks at Mattress Firm Tulsa are AMAZING and I don't say that lightly, they have a heart for those in our community and it was so awesome that I was asked to be a part of this giveaway.
I wanted to share with you some pics from today's giveaway and I also wanted to share with you the nomination letter sent in by their pastor:
John and Jessica have been married for 1 year. 11 months of that year, John was in Afghanistan. He just returned and now they are going to have a child! John endured a great sacrifice to serve, had health issues while overseas, lost friends and fellow soldiers whom he had to identify the bodies of. These memories make it difficult for him to sleep now. Having a new mattress could at least make it comfortable for him to lay awake. These are great people who serve others at every opportunity and are highly deserving of a great prize like this!
John and Jessica chose a crib mattress and a king size mattress from Mattress Firm Tulsa. As you can see in the picture above, they were pretty excited!! Many blessings to their family and a HUGE thank you to John for so bravely fighting for our freedom.
