Frugal Living: Tie Dye Easter Eggs

Tired of decorating your Easter the same way each year? Well, reach out to your inner hippie and try Tie Dye Easter Eggs! I love these, personally because I just have a thing for tie dye. In our household, we're all about plastic eggs due to food allergies but I'm thinking we can make this work with a little paint too. Way cute!

Hey, how'd yah know I was born in the 60's. *inner hippie reference*

Anyway, I have some food dye questions: Do you know if it's possible to dilute concentrated icing colors? If so, I'd like the instructions. Plus, they are quite old. Does it expire? I mean though, it's not like we're going to eat it. (Peel the shell.)

Thanks!
