Have you ever attended a Just Between Friends sale? These unbelievable consignment sales are happening all over the country and they are a gold mine for deals. Since we're talking about our Creative Cash Challenge this month, I thought it would be perfect to chat with Shannon Wilburn of Just Between Friends. You can check out the video at the end of this post but right now, get ready for some killer tips!

{3 Ways to Make the Most Money with Consignment}

1. Clean It Up: Just by cleaning your items, you can make more money. Just think about it, how much are you willing to pay for a pair of used, dirty shoes? Not much. Throw them in the wash though and they may look brand new!

2. Make It a Set: After you've cleaned it up, make sure it is complete. For example, if you want to sell a puzzle, count the pieces. It might sound simple but how many times have you seen toys with half the pieces missing? I see that all the time and I'm not going to buy that. Make sure the item is clean and complete.

3. Keep it Current: Those toys from 1984 that were cute when you were a kid won't work today. Remember, a consignment sale is not an antique market, this is a different crowd. Kids want toys that are current and cool. Keep the Pogs at home.

Consignment sales are a great way to make extra cash, following the tips above will help you make even more. HUGE thanks to Shannon from Just Between Friends for doing this interview! Be sure to find a sale near you and if you don't plan on selling, at least go check out the deals! Watch the video of our interview below:
