Frugal Recipe: How to Make Butter

While spending several hours on Pinterest the other day, I stumbled upon a super cool recipe for making your own butter. It uses only 1 ingredient, heavy cream. All you need is full fat (YIKES) heavy cream preferably that is not ultra-pasteurized and then you shake. That's it. Check out Cooking with Kids for the full instructions. Sounds like a fun project for the kiddos, not so sure I could eat full fat butter as I do like to fit in my jeans but it would be a fun experiment! Let us know if you've tried it!

We used to do this at preschool.....it was great fun and we would then serve it to the kiddos on bread! Delicious!
