I love it when I find ways to save on beauty must haves! Check out this post by OneGoodThingbyJillee about using baby powder and cornstarch to make translucent face powder. I've never tried this one before but I'm looking forward to it.

LOVE IT!! Thanks so much for sharing!! I've never bought dry foundation before but, I'm going to now. (Need tint for, I too am of the fair skinned persuasion. *hee*)
I still can't believe how good it felt on my skin!! I guess it's the baby powder, right? A little bit sure goes a long way, right? *hee*
I did this the first day I read her post and absolutely love it. I have an old Ulta powdered foundation container that it fit in perfectly. The real mineral veil has a bit of shimmer and a pink-y cast to it, so I powdered some eyeshadow (Revlon single in a color called Nude Slip which is very close to a natural skin color for e/s) and mixed it in with the cornstarch for a tiny bit of shimmer and color. I will never buy mineral veil again.
We are happy to hear you liked it! We appreciate the tips! Jessica
