Someone just asked me this week about seeing movies for free so I thought I would repost this information. I've heard nothing but good things so check it out:
Sign up with GoFoBo.com and score free movie tickets which will be emailed to you about once a month. I have received movie tickets for kid movies and adults too. The tickets are for a pre-set date and time so keep that in mind, you won't be able to choose. They will send you an e-mail a week early so you can adjust your schedule.
Now here is your fair warning...they will email you everyday regarding movies in the theater. Yep, everyday. If you are willing to look past these then you will have some free tickets in your hand. Makes for a frugal date night and I'm all for that!

You also need to show up 1-2 hours early to these free premiers because they give out hundreds too many. Went to one last week. I was the last one in with 1 hour before show time and over 200 people were turned away.
