Check out these two reading programs for military members and their children
Books-A-Million: You can buy books on their website and they will send them to different military bases with no shipping costs to you. Through this program you can also donate books for the Reach Out and Read program.
Reach Out and Read program: Doctors and nurses speak with parents on the importance to read aloud to their children every day. The doctor gives every child that is 6 months to 5 years old a new book to take home.
