The Cheapest Pumpkins in Town
Everyone has been asking me lately, ‘where can I get cheap pumpkins?’ Truthfully, I have no idea. We hit the same pumpkin patch every year and it’s pretty inexpensive. The smaller (think child size) pumpkins are only .75 each while most ‘normal size’ pumpkins run about $3. This year, we splurged and bought a mega-pumpkin for $12 only because it was cute and I couldn’t resist.
The pumpkin patch we go to is St. Stephen’s in Broken Arrow (101st & Elm). Where do you go and how cheap is your punkin?

Aldi has large pumpkins for only $2! I knows it cheaper than the pumpkin patch! Besides, I can never convince Carina to choose a big pumpkin, she always wants a gourd and insists its "'cause it's beanie-sized!" :)
Yes! Aldis has GREAT pumpkins for $1.99! And it wasnt short on selection either, there were about 5 bins full of them and they are pretty big! I went to walmart directly after where i noticed their pumkins were picked over, half the size, and twice the price! So happy with my purchase this year! You cant beat $8 for 4 big pumpkins.
Where in Oklahoma city or Edmond or Yukon can u find cheap pumkins please
Reasor's pumpkins are $3.99 for any size.
We tried Aldi and they had like 20 pumpkins when we went. We did got to the Pumpkin Patch in Porter and I think we spent 33 cents a pound for carving pumpkins so about $3.50 or so each and got some tiny pumpkins for the baby for .50 each. It was a great time and I think the prices were cheap and they weren't beat up like the ones from Wal-Mart and Aldi's.
I know this site is all about finding things on the cheap, but I appreciate this post. I go to church at St. Stephen's and all of our proceeds go to adult and youth mission trips. Our pumpkins do cost more than Walmart or Aldi's but when you consider how the profits are used, to better someone else's life, it is worth it! The pumpkin patch has great games and handouts for kids (free!) plus awesome photo opportunities. This Saturday it will also host a petting zoo, pony rides, craft and baked goods also.
for about the last 4 or 5 years my husband and I have bought all of our pumlins from St. Stephen's in BA. My son just turned 3 and was really into getting to pick out the pumpkins along with playing the different games that were set up...I also love that the money is going toward something...and missions is very close to my heart..
We always go to Carmichael's or one of the other "patches" out in Bixby, so we did that again this year, but I had seen the Aldi's ad for $1.99 pumpkins just the day before and had a hard time justifying the more expensive ones at the patch. So we went, took pictures, ate fudge, and bought a couple of smaller pumpkins and gourds, then I took my Aldi ad to Walmart and price matched for the biggest ones I could find for carving. They are mixed among the smaller, expensive patch pumpkins and you can't even tell the difference! We had fun AND saved some money!
We went to Shepherds Cross, just north of Claremore. The pumpkins weren't cheap, but it's their church's way to raise money for missions and the place is BEAUTIFUL. Nothing scarey, just fun old fashioned games with bible scriptures throughout. They have a petting zoo, hay ride and a loft in the barn with story time. The prettiest background for photos for sure! Spend the day out there and if you want, you can run by Aldi on the way home for the big pumpkins! :)
Okay I have to admit it, I way overspent on pumpkins!!! ***hanging head in shame*** I went to Pumpkin Town at 81st & Mingo. And while I love the atmosphere, I won't be going back next year. I will say that they had a great selection, but you definitely paid for it. This is not to be rude to their business, but I think we all value what we get for the amount we spend. Next year we will do like Megan Marie and go to Carmicheals for the fudge and photos and stop by Aldi on the way home for the pumpkin.
