10 Sites You Should Know for Christmas Deals

Posted: 10/12/12 3:00 PM (Modified: 07/24/13 8:01 PM)

It's ALMOST here believe it or not, Christmas time! In order to get the best deals, you have to start checking out the deal sites. Most of these take a bit to ship the products so purchasing now will get them here on time. I love the sites below and have used every single one. Check them out and be sure to bookmark this post for later!

{10 Daily Deal Sites You Should Know for Christmas Deals}

1. Totsy: This is my new favorite. Every single day you will find new boutiques from kids clothing to toys to home decor for mom and dad. I've even seen a few travel deals on Totsy lately that are definitely worth checking out. Your first purchase ships free and when you refer a friend, you will earn $15 when that friend's first purchase ships.

2. Rue La La: This is for the high rollers...or at least those who want to look like high rollers. Rue La La is where you'll find your Michael Kors digs, Calvin Klein shoes and even those beautiful KitchenAid mixers. I've seen half price deals on private jets too...seriously. I'm addicted to this one and if you're a brand-name lover then you'll soon be addicted too. Pay $9.99 for shipping and you'll get free shipping for 30 days!

3. LivingSocial: This one has stood the test of time. Sometimes the deals are national and sometimes the deals are local to your city. I have bought a ton of deals from Living Social and I have also given away a ton for gifts and prizes too. Plus, if you can talk three of your friends into buying the same deal you just bought then your deal will be free. I dig that. You can also snag a deal for a vacation or if you happen to be traveling, simply change your city to that particular city and pick up a few deals there too.

4. Groupon: Possibly the one that started it all. Groupon offers daily by city and also national deals for everyone. You'll also find vacation getaways and when you invite a friend, you'll earn $10 when that friend purchases their first Groupon.

5. No More Rack: Perhaps the most insanely cheap of all the deal sites. This is the home of $2 flat rate shipping and also free product giveaways. You'll usually be able to score top of the line name brand items for prices you've only dreamed about. Every single day the deals will change so be sure to get there fast before they sell out. If you refer friends to No More Rack through your personal link, you will earn point and you can then redeem those points for very cool prizes like a new camera or iPad 2.

6. Groopdealz: My new FAVE site! Check out Groopdealz.com and get 'Etsy' like items at a fraction of the cost. Seriously...you'll be ADDICTED!

7.  Hautelook.com: Check out Hautelook and get your items up to 75% off. Plus, be sure to invite your friends, if your friends purchase through your link, you will earn $10 in Hautelook credits.

8. Zulily: This website is very similar to the first one in this list and quickly has become another one of my favorites. Zulily offers up deals on everything for moms, babies and kids. You'll find many of them are boutique deals that you normally could not get this cheap. If you refer a friend, you'll earn $15 when that friend's order ships.

9. 1SaleaDay: Just a warning, you'll be visiting this site every single day. Each day is a new deal in several different categories like jewelry and family. They are amazing, low cost deals and many offer free shipping. Sometimes the items seem completely bizarre but then the next day they just rock. Stick close to this site every day and grab the deal when you see it!

10. One Kings Lane: If you sign up here for One Kings Lane and refer a friend, that friend will get a $15 credit AND you get a $15 credit too when you make your first purchase. Now, c'mon, you gotta admit that is cool. Aside from that, this ain't your mama's daily deal site. This one is different, offering up unique items for up to 70% off. Some items are incredibly pricey while others are great deals either way, it's unique and not something we normally see from daily deal websites.

There you have it. I realize there are many, many more daily deal websites out there and it seems that more come along everyday. However, the ones on the list above are the daily deal sites that I actually use and since I use them, I know they can be trusted and I know the deals really are good. Rock it out half price this Christmas!

Disclosure: Some of the links are affiliate links however, all of the links are pure awesomeness.

I do NOT recommend Totsy.com. I have ordered from them three times (three times too many!) and have had problems every time. Customer service is awful, shipping takes forever, the first time, I got the wrong item and they couldn't do anything to get me the item I actually wanted. Second and third time, I ordered an item and then a MONTH later they emailed me to tell me it was sold out. They do have some good stuff, but I just don't think it's worth the hassle.

Agree with comment about Totsy...do not use this site! One item I ordered was NEVER sent and I could not get a straight answer from anyone I spoke with. However, on a positive note I have used Zulily hundreds of times and will use a hundred more! Your item may not always arrive super fast, but they do warn you of the time period. If they say your order will be delivered before a specific holiday, it will! LOVE Zulily!

I too agree about Totsy. Horrid customer service and half the things you order don't even get shipped. Don't waste your time or get your hopes up about product you will never end up getting.

You forgot the steals.com sites. I love them all and they have excellent customer service and shipping speeds. She, Kid, Baby and Scrapbook. They are awesome!

Don't use nomorerack either I looked it up and its a total scam. People complaining about broken murchandise, month long shipments, and even credit card fraud!

I agree with all the comments about Totsy too. I ordered 4 items in one order and then a week later I look to see when my items shipped and it says my order was canceled. I call about it and stay on hold for a long period of time to be told that 2 items were not available anymore, but they can order the other two items again for me. They also told me I would receive it at the same time I was supposed to get my original order, but I didn't. I received it 2 weeks after the time they promised. Giving me a $10 credit is not going to make me buy from them again.

I agree with the Totsy comments. I don't recommend them. I ordered shoes, in the correct size. but they didn't fit at all and they would not take them back. Sorry but I won't buy anything from them because there is no returns so if it doesn't fit you're screwed.
Also you forgot Mamapedia. MY FAV!
