A Delicious Dessert: Peach & Oatmeal Nice Cream + Giveaway

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by The Women Bloggers & Kendal King Group however, all opinions (and recipe) is 100% my own.

Nice Cream is my thing. I’m all over it. I was a huge ice cream eater back in the day then, dairy decided to not agree with my stomach and I thought I was done with it for good. Then, I heard about Nice Cream. When I first tasted it, I was shocked by the goodness. Honestly, it tastes like ice cream only much, much healthier.

Nice Cream has a base of frozen bananas and, once mixed, it has the consistency of ice cream. All you have to do is add more fruit or even a little chocolate and you’ll have an amazingly delicious dessert.

Do you see how delicious that picture looks up there? You won’t believe what I mixed to create this dessert. Are you ready?

Peaches & Oatmeal Nice Cream #CookingWithGerber

YES! I used Gerber Oatmeal & Banana Cereal and Gerber peaches and it is amazing! I have five boys and when they were younger we always had Gerber cereal and baby food products on hand. If you’re looking for a great recipe substitute full of nutrients, Gerber is it! Open the pantry, you probably have endless possibilities right there on your shelf.

The great thing about Gerber is you already know it’s a high quality product full of nutrients your body needs. Plus, it makes a great substitute in recipes! This is a great recipe for toddlers too, it’s a crowd pleaser the whole family will enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:

3-4 Frozen Bananas (slice, then freeze ripe bananas)

1 tub Gerber peach baby food

1/3 cup Gerber Oatmeal & Banana Cereal

DIRECTIONS:

In a food processor (or high powered blender), mix the frozen bananas until they create an ice cream consistency. Then, add in the other ingredients you choose such as the peaches and oatmeal cereal. Mix until blended. Do not overblend or your nice cream will be runny. Then, simply stick a spoon in and eat! Or, you can be a normal person and pour it into a bowl but, who has the time for that?

Peach and Oatmeal Nice Cream

The delicious taste of Nice Cream will shock you! It’s addicting, don’t say I didn’t warn you. Plus, you can make it into popsicles too if you’re daring. Personally, I’m lucky to get it in the bowl before it’s already gone YUM!

To help you get started making your own version of Nice Cream, you can enter to win a $50 Visa Gift Card! Check out the #CookingWithGerber hashtag on your social media accounts for even more great recipes.
